"I'm sick of my Diaper Momma"

Funny story:

Cooper was walking around in his diaper the other day and he walks into the living room and just takes his diaper off. I figure that was fine because it was hot that day and he has always had good control of his "movements". So he went into the bathroom where we have a little potty chair for him, which he uses mainly for a stool when he washes his hands and brushes his teeth, so I didn't really think that much of it. We haven't started potty training yet, but sometimes he will sit on the potty anyway cause he thinks he's cooler if he does. So I walk in there and he is sitting on his potty holding a newspaper... naked! It was the funniest thing that I had seen all day and so I had to video tape it. It was cute and funny, but we got over it and moved onto doing something else. Just because... I walked over by the potty a little bit later and it was FULL of pee! We have never tried to do any real training with him before, so the fact that he decided that he wanted his diaper off and that he was going to fill the potty all by himself (with no little pee dribbles anywhere) was the AWESOMEST thing in the world of raising children.

He was so proud! We were so proud.

Now I guess he gave us a kick start into the world of pull-ups and superman underwear!

Updating

I don't know how people have time to update their blogs or facebook status' all the time. I check both regularly, but can't keep up with either as quick as other people can. I feel like there is not enough people out there that really read what I am saying for me to be interesting enough to update that often. (I digress)

Triple

I hit a mother f.ing triple tonight against a really good team! I was exhausted by the time that I got to third, but I ended up staying there because the rest of my team got out so I never made it home. But it felt good. I am a pretty slow runner, but I'll take it.

My Mom and I were busy in the last couple of days!

Rodeo Days

The Rodeo Days was fun this year. Cooper had a busy couple of days. The parade was great with lots of little friends. We did the kiddie parade again this year and took 3rd place. There were a ton of little kids in it this year so 3rd was great. Cooper slept through the outhouse races at home, but they were fun for the big kids who stayed awake. Then it was fight night at Kahring's on saturday. We rented the UFC fight and had some friends over. It was a very busy couple of days, but it was fun. Here are some pictures.

Dirt Ball

I realized that I haven't posted any recent pictures. This one was taken on the 4th. For some reason everyone in my family was calling each other "Dirt Ball" all weekend, but for Cooper, he really was a little dirt ball...

It crept up on us!

Cooper woke up from his restless nap yesterday and had a temp. Man I hate when these things creep up on us! He felt fine and everything before that and then, bam... (emeril) he's sick. I think Nate might stay home with him today because I, of course, have to make my final presentation today. I hate sending a sick kid to someone else's house, especially if they have kids too. I'm telling you, it's the worst! Hopefully he will feel better quickly because we have a fun couple of days planned. Oh well, nothing as bad as missing Christmas with the fam like he did this year because he was sick! Oh boy.
