Our week long journey

Well Nate and I are going up north for the next few days and then going to WI for the fourth. We will basically be gone for over a week... that is a lot of packing and planning for mommy. I ask Nate to get his stuff ready and he's like, "all I need is a couple pairs of shorts and underwear and some tshirts", I'm like... "all I need is to do is everything else! Food, drinks, all of coopers stuff (toys, swim stuff, food, blankets, bath stuff... etc), make sure the cooler is packs, nate is ready, car is packed, and lastly all my stuff. It must be nice to be married to a crazy control freak when it comes to packing and organizing for something like this... Nate is lucky that I do everything... he just worries about his clothes...

A million things at once

Does this ever happen to you... a sudden wave of feeling overwhelmed?  Sometimes it just sneaks up on you and you get that tingling in your face and get kind of sweaty and start thinking about a million things at once?  Man I hate that.  Today I was on my way to school and I wasn't feeling that great anyways (I hate this weather) and I just started to get all clamming and than it just caved... I was thinking about all of this stuff... School, work, kids, family, marriage, money, cleaning... and so on.  Its like if one area of your life feels out of control, than the rest of it follows.

I feel like if you can fix one of the issues quickly than things seem to right themselves again and it is one more thing off of your table... (only to put something else back up there later, but I don't have time to worry about that now)  So I skipped class today and I sent my husband and child out of the house so I can get busy cleaning!  I think a lot of my stress is coming from having a disorganized, messy, cluttered house!  My poor mother could kill me and my family for bringing and causing all the havic in her house, so I want to do something about it and I know I will feel better if I can just get it cleaned... accomplishment is a good stress reliever.

Deadliest Catch

I found my new obsession... The Deadliest Catch!!!  I'm sorry but I just can't help watch it!  These crazy crab fishermen are out of their minds but they can make a heck of a lot of money.  At the end of one season (5 days) each person made 27,000!  Holy s. balls.  I wish.  Maybe tupperware will pick up and I can make that kind of money without risking my life in the crazy Bering Sea.  I'm serious... if you play one episode of any series to me, I am hooked!

Summer School

Well after being in school for a million years, today is my official first day of summer class.  I have never taken a summer class and I have a feeling it's going to be a lot of work and very tiring because I will be driving back and forth from home to St. Cloud 4 days a week for 5 weeks.  Yuck!  At least I can finally see the light at the end of the school tunnel!

The Ol' Switcheroo...

How come on days like this (cold and rainy) are the days that I feel most productive?  All I really want to do is get the cleaning done and bake.  It's weird.  Aren't these days supposed to be the ones where you cuddle up on the couch and don't leave?  Hmm... Well I have banana bread to make, cheers.

Play Dates

We have been doing a lot of play dates lately and I have to say, they are really fun.  The kids have such a great time together and it gives me a break from having to constantly be entertaining to a rambunctious 2 year old.  This week we played with Rylee, Emily, and Dylinn.  All of them are very different as well as all girls.  Cooper likes to play with boys better I think because they have more energy and they run around a lot more.  The girls just seem to watch him play and look at him like he's crazy.  It's the same way I feel everyday!

Side note:  He got a "time-out" today because he heard mommy say that someone left the front door open so he didn't hesitate to go and sneak out into the front yard!  He was in big trouble and had to sit on the naughty chair until he said he was sorry to mommy.  Where do they learn this stuff???
